Shipping Policy

FOR DOMESTIC ORDERS (Inside India)

  • Mahalekshmi Silks provides free shipping across India for purchases above Rs.3000.
  • For the purchases below Rs.3000 there would be a shipping charge of Rs.100 for delivery within Kerala and Rs.200 for deliveries outside Kerala
  • All orders would be processed within 48 business hours and shipping will be done through speed post or any other reliable and reputed domestic courier services.
  • Products will be delivered within 5 to 7 business days.
  • In case of item being out stock customer will be provided a refund, such refunds will be processed within 2 working days of placing an order. Amounts will reflect in your bank account normally within 5-7 working days depending on your bank.
  • E-mail and SMS communication will be sent to the customer's registered email address and mobile number with the package’s tracking number and tracking link once the product is shipped.
  • We shall not be held responsible for any delays caused by the courier service in delivering the package to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.
  • We take utmost care to ship the items in good condition, properly polythene packed and wrapped in packing paper. However, the package may be damaged due to delivery procedure, we will not be responsible for the same.
  • Any duty/taxes at delivery location if applicable should be paid by the customer.

FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (Outside India)

  • All International orders (outside India shipping) to be processed within 48 business hours and will shipped with recognised International Courier services like Fedex or UPS.
  • Most orders to foreign destinations are delivered within 15 days.
  • An e-mail communication will be sent to the customer with the package’s reference/tracking number and tracking link after product dispatch.
  • We shall not be held responsible for any delays by the courier service in delivering the package to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.
  • We take utmost care to ship the items in good condition, properly polythene packed and wrapped in packing paper. However, the package may be damaged due to delivery procedure, we will not be responsible for the same.
  • Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not in our control. They vary according to the rules of different countries and must be paid directly by the buyer. VAT/Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not included in our ordering process, but may be charged to you by your government. They are entirely your responsibility.
  • Customers must provide full, accurate and legible information in the order form. Telephone number is must for most countries.
  • We will not be responsible for wrong delivery due to incorrect and/or incomplete address supplied by the customer.

REMOTE AREA SURCHARGE (RAS) FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

  • According to the policies of the International carrier, an additional surcharge may be levied if the shipping address is defined by the carrier as a remote area.
  • This Remote Area Surcharge(RAS) would not be charged at the time of placing the order. Instead, it would be informed to you before shipping the goods. The customer has to pay the surcharge through the website in such case.
  • If the surcharge is not paid within 3 days after our information, the order will be cancelled and amount paid will be refunded.
